President Yoweri Museveni has said government will defeat criminals terrorizing Kampala. “The NRM government successfully disarmed the Karamojong of 40,000 guns, defeated the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) in the Rwenzori region and the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) under Joseph Kony.

We managed to restore peace to areas which were no go zones such as Latanya and Omiya Anyima. So, how can we fail to deal with criminals in Kampala?” Museveni wondered loudly while addressing resident in Pader on Tuesday.

He disclosed that the weapons recovered from Karamoja were twice the weapons used by the army during the Idi Amin regime.
