Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre will have the chance to test his senior players for the first time on March 24th in an international friendly match against Seychelles in Kampala.

Information reaching this publication from the Seychelles FA and a source in FUFA indicates that the two Federations have already agreed to have the match as they prepare ahead of the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.

After facing the lowly ranked Seychelles (192nd), the Uganda Cranes who will be captained by South African based goalkeeper Denis Onyango will take on the Malawi Flames on March 27th at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Hussein Ahmed, the Uganda FA communications manager told our reporter that they expect the summoned players to report to camp by March 19th for few days of preparations.

The head coach has only invited four players featuring in the local League for the two international friendly matches. They include; Nicholas Wadada, Timothy Awanyi, Milton Karisa and Masavu FC striker Abraham Ndugwa.

Since Desabre taking over as Uganda Cranes coach, the team managed to draw 1-1 against Guinea before losing 1-0 to Congo Brazzaville in the two games played as build-ups ahead of the CHAN competition.

At the CHAN event in Morocco, Uganda Cranes lost 3-1 to Zambia, fell 1-0 to Namibia before settling for a goalless draw against Cote dÍvoire.
