Kigali, Rwanda | By Michael Wandati | Ugandan artist Ykee Benda is set to rock Rwandan capital, Kigali at the annual Nyama Choma festival.
The festival is scheduled to take place on March 4th at La Palisse Hotel, Nyandungu. This will be the first time the reggae/dance-hall artist Ykee Benda will be performing in Kigali, Rwanda.
The festival is a BBQ event that takes place in Kigali, which brings together restaurants that specialize in Nyama Choma recipes. Not only do visitors get to sample the best grilled meats, but also enjoy a variety of fun-filled activities throughout the day.
The “Farmer” hit-maker, Ykee Benda, real name Wycliffe Tugume, is a 26-year-old artist, born and raised in Uganda with roots in Rwanda. He is famous for his songs like Budumbu, Kyenkyebula, Eva and Farmer.
The third edition of Nyama Choma Festival last year was graced by A Pass, also Ugandan.
