Kampala, Uganda | By Michael Wandati | Tanzanian Bongo Flava superstar, Diamond Platnumz is in Kampala ahead of his much anticipated show scheduled for tonight Thursday 25 at the weekly comedy themed show, Comedy Store Ug, at Uganda Manufactures Association (UMA) Exhibition Hall, Lugogo.
The ‘Tetetema‘ hit-singer along with his entourage arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 1:00pm aboard RwandAir.
The show will also feature Kenyan comedian, Eric Omondi, Ugandan singer King Saha, and among many other local host comedians.
Zari Hassan, Diamond Platnumz ex-lover is also expected to be in Kampala but for a different event.
Zari is a judge and patron for the Miss Uganda pageant that will be held on Friday 26th at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
“I’m super excited to be coming home as a Judge for the Miss Uganda 2019 Grand Finale taking place this Friday, Make sure you get your tickets before they sell out,” Zari noted.
Zari together with other judges, did a good job in coming up with the best Miss Uganda for 2018 who in turn did wonders at the Miss World beauty contest by finishing in the third position.
Who is Diamond Platnumz?
Nasibu Abdul Juma, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz was born on October 2, 1989. He is a Tanzanian bongo flava recording artist and dancer.
Diamond became popular in Uganda when he started dating Ugandan socialite and party animal Zari Hassan.

It was one of the most serious relationships with two children to show for it. She is believed to have had one of the longest relationships with him although the two had other children with different partners.
However, they split after rumours that Diamond was cheating with another woman Hamisa Mobetto. Diamond Platnumz and Zari Hassan are rumored to have a good relationship even after separating.
