Kampala, Uganda | By Michael Wandati | A self proclaimed city millionaire, music promoter and socialite Charles Oryem popularly known as Sipapa has threatened Uganda’s artiste-turned-politician Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alia Bobi Wine that he will destroy his car in revenge.
Sipapa through his Facebook post which he made on Tuesday 15th, September 2020, said; “Bobi Wine abayaye bo bakubye emotoka yange but I am coming for yours too,” he threatened.
This followed the chaotic scene that happened on August 30th, 2020. According to eyewitnesses, People Power youths attacked Sipapa, a self-proclaimed supporter of President Yoweri Museveni and the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).
It’s alleged that one Charles Oryem aka Sipapa who was driving in a Super Custom vehicle registration number UBE 229E reportedly tried to park near a one Fred Nyanzi’s place (who happens to be the elder brother to Bobi Wine) in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb when a group of youth attacked him and destroyed his windscreen and the right side driving mirror saying it was too much disrespect.

This prompted two armed men, who were moving with Sipapa to fire three bullets in the air. Uganda Police who responded to the scene fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the chaotic crowds and calm down the situation.
The Deputy Police Spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Luke Owoyesigyire said that the police is aware of the scene that happened in Kamwokya but they do not know about Sipapa’s car being destroyed because he had not reported the case.
