Mukono, Uganda | URN | The newly elected LCV Chairperson Kayunga District Ffefeka Sserubugo is dead.
Ffefeka Sserubugo is alleged to have committed suicide on Tuesday 15th, June 2021 night. According to Hellen Kyomuhendo, the acting District Police Commander Mukono, Sserubugo’s body was found by relatives hanging on a tree Wednesday 16th, June 2021 morning.
Police have currently cordoned off Ffefeka Sserubugo’s home to establish the facts behind his death.

Last month, Sserubugo was sworn in as the new District Chairperson on the National Unity Platform (NUP) party ticket. He succeeded Tom Sserwanga.
Sserubugo contested against Andrew Muwongo of the NRM party, Thomas Muwanga, Boniface Musisi, Fred Ssemyalo, Patrick SSempijja and Dan Wabomba an Independent.
