Nairobi, Kenya | URN | H.E Dr. Hassan Wasswa Ggaliwango, Uganda’s High Commissioner to Kenya and Seychelles is dead.
A close family member says that Dr Ggaliwango passed away at Nairobi Hospital in Kenya’s Capital Nairobi where he was rushed on Thursday 12, January 2023 when his condition deteriorated.
Dr Hassan Wasswa Ggaliwango, who has been battling heart complications was initially admitted at Mulago National Specialised hospital.
About Dr Hassan Wasswa Ggaliwango
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, Ggaliwango served as the director of finance at the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party secretariat.

He also served as Mbale Resident District Commissioner and Mbale Industrial Division LC III chairperson.
Ggaliwango is also the proprietor of Mbale Progressive Secondary School, the pioneer private secondary school in Mbale city. He is also the husband of Mbale City Woman MP, Connie Nakayenze Ggaliwango.
