Oyam, Uganda | URN | Two people travellling in a truck belonging to the National Medical Stores (NMS) were killed after it overturned at Iyanyi trading centre in Loro sub-county Oyam district, northern Uganda.
The deceased NMS staff include the truck’s driver Alex Muzoora and Caroline Ainembabazi, a clerk.
The truck, registration number, UBJ 625X overturned on Thursday 9, February 2023 when one of its front tyres burst, forcing it to swerve off the road.

Robert Ekwaro, the area LC III chairperson said three NMS trucks enroute to deliver medical supplies to Lira, Alebtong and Otuke districts were moving in a convoy when the accident happened.
