Kampala, Uganda | By Michael Wandati | Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyomozi has vehemently denied allegations linking her to a nude video currently circulating online.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the popular artist dismissed the claims, asserting that the explicit content is part of a deliberate attempt to damage her reputation.
Juliana made it clear that the video has no connection to her and condemned the spread of such false and harmful material.
“There’s a random video doing rounds on social media and those sharing it claim it’s me in it. I wish to inform the well meaning public and my fans that am not the person in that video neither do I know the malicious individuals behind it,” Juliana’s statement reads in part.
Juliana Kanyomozi reiterated her disassociation from the circulating video, emphasizing that she has no connection to the explicit content.
The singer called on the public and her fans to avoid sharing or believing in the false material, stressing that such rumors are aimed at harming her reputation.

“I therefore disassociate myself from it and ask you the general public and my fans to do the same,” she added.
This incident is the latest in a growing trend of online harassment and false accusations targeting public figures in Uganda.
