Since handing over power to President William Ruto, Uhuru has been actively involved in peacebuilding efforts across regions like the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, and Rwanda.
In late September, online speculation suggested that Kenyatta was in critical condition and seeking medical treatment. These rumors followed his last public appearance in Nigeria on June 14, 2024.
However, close confidant Pauline Njoroge dismissed the claims, asserting that the former president was being unfairly targeted.
